Welcome to our FAVS page!
We would like to introduce you to FAVS (Friends of Abington Vale School), a committee run by parents, to raise vital funds for those little extras that the school may need. We organise events for the children to enjoy such as an annual Winter Fayre Hot Dog Nights, Discos, Secret Shops for Mothers Day and Fathers Day.
Recently we have funded the schools wi-fi system, the new school library, and new musical instruments. We also fund smaller such as a production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe which came into school and the children loved, and always make a contribution to the year 6 leavers prom.
We are actively seeking new members and would love to hear from you if you’d like to join us. It’s a great way of getting more involved with the school and meeting other parents.

We are thrilled to share with you our Community Events Plan for the coming year!
There are lots of fun events planned for children, families and the wider community, and we really look forward to seeing you at some of the different events across the year.
We will be sending out information on the individual events closer to the time; in the meantime if you have any questions or queries about the different events, please let us know! Also, if any family members work for companies that give match funding donations, please let us know via the school office.
